The party of the year graced our newsfeeds and dashboards once more last night; one of the most momentous events on the social calendar. The Met Gala is one of the most celebrated fundraisers in New York, but Anna Wintour's undeniable power has made it into one of the most exclusive, star-studded fashion-focused events of the year, attracting the attention of millions around the world.
Last year, the gala honoured the designer, Charles James, which saw some incredible looks gracing the red carpet. This year, the exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is dedicated to Chinese fashion and Chinese aesthetic's influence on Western fashion; the theme for the gala. Expectations were high all around, for sure.
