I wasn't even planning on writing anything for this outfit, but I thought I should just write a little disclaimer about this 'Vans' top. I'm not a fan of designer knock-offs; of course I love it when brands like Zara take inspiration from designers and create similar pieces that are more accessible to the average person, but not when a brand name is blatantly written on something that isn't an authentic piece. I actually bought this in a market in Thailand, with the intention of using it as a comfy top to sleep in, but then I randomly wore it out last weekend, and I decided that the photos were too pretty not too post :)

Leopard Print

I must say I was never too proficient at eBay, and almost never won any worthwhile bids or sold anything! But recently, luck has been on my side, and I was able to pick up this cute leopard print dress (originally from Miss Selfridge) for a measley £3.00! Such a bargain! :D

I absolutely love the fit on the bust; it's soooo comfortable and, together, the high crew neck and sleeveless aspects are really flattering and make the shoulders look great. 

I teamed it up with my trusty black cut-out boots and beigy cardigan, as well as my pink socks! I absolutely love my boots, and considering that I'm soooo picky when it comes to any boot of any kind, I've worn them pretty much every day of my life since I bought them. But now that the warmer weather is really starting to kick in, I feel like it's time to move on and get myself some sandals. 

Also, I picked up this cute watch at Greenwich market. The stall had such beautiful hand-made watches, and compared to my bulky and slightly blingy one that I already own, I kinda felt like a more dainty one would come in great use.

The back is like a really lovely and nifty clip on bracelet sort of thing - adjustable sizes and all that!

COLOURFUL x SHEINSIDE

So with the money I've been making off selling some of my clothes on eBay (not very much), I decided to visit one of my fave websites SheInside to indulge slightly in one of my favourite activities! 

Now, I have to rave slightly about this site: not only is it amazing for its incredible diversity of clothing and accessories, but the prices are the best you'll find pretty much anywhere, and will easily compete with the likes of Primark! 

I'm not really a fan of dupes, and it's true that SheInside is riddled with them, but there's nothing better than satisifying my shopping craving when I'm broke with an exciting new piece, and spending hardly any money at all. 

Looking through my wardrobe, I've realised that it mainly consists of colours like black, grey or dark combinations, so I thought I'd liven it up a bit, in light of the recent weather we've been having! 

So I got myself this funky and colourful geometric print t-shirt for a measley £5.93 (and FREE shipping peeps!) Check it out HERE! 

I also finally wore my customised shoes out; an assignment for one of my recent modules in my course! Gotta love a good embellished pair of trainers! As you can probably tell by the painted eyes, these were inspired by one of my favourite labels, Kenzo, and I'm really happy with the way they turned out!

Here's my latest laid-back look that I wore to watch the London marathon on Sunday, which luckily passed right outside my flat. I really needed a casual summery playsuit that I could just throw on without too much thought, and I found this cute little number in New Look for an amazing bargain. I also found an adorable gingham pencil mini skirt, which I'll hopefully feature in another post soon! 

 I think that girly items like this look amazing with a slight edge, so I paired my playsuit with an oversized cardigan and my trusty Doc Martens, which can literally shake up any outfit and look super cute!

Staple Skirt

A couple of weeks back, I spent a lovely sunny Saturday walking along the Thames path to Greenwich, and for the first time ever, I walked the Greenwich foot tunnel under the river, which was pretty cool!

This crop top has made a fair few appearances lately - but it's just so perfect not only because of the weather, but because the aztec-y geometric print won't fail to add a little something to an otherwise plain-ish outfit! 

Currently, I'm enrolled at the London College of Style undertaking a short course in 'Fashion and Personal Styling'. The module I'm doing at the moment is teaching me all about different body shapes, and how to best enhance our natural assets but also disguise the areas of our bodies that make us feel insecure! For a girl like me who's not too well-endowed in the upper area and more hippy (word?) and pear shaped, I'm learning that high-waisted A-line skirts are perfect to show off all the right bits. 

I looove this skirt - it's super comfortable and versatile but most importantly, it's figure flattering and enhances my waist, which isn't as shapy as I'd like. It's definitely one of my wardrobe staples!
