ASOS Wishlist

ASOS Wishlist

Here are a few things that have been sitting in my ASOS 'Saved Items' for yonks! I have no funds right now, but I'm kinda hoping that leaving them in there will make them drop in price, which will also make the prospect of my size remaining available an unlikely event! There's nothing wrong with wishful thinking, though, right?

The grey cocoon coat is so dreamyyyyy! It fits so nicely (on the model, at least) and it looks like it would be a super versatile item that I could wear with pretty much anything! I think that's probably at the very top of my wishlist!

After purchasing my Levi's mom jeans that I've featured in a couple of posts, I really want them in all colours and styles now! These black ones look really comfortable but also quite feminine!

The blazer - another versatile item - is super gorge and chic - quite a departure from my usual style, which is kinda why I want it.

As for the shoes, I really have no excuse for those, especially since I JUST got a pair of strappy lace-up heels for my birthday! But what can I say? I'm a shoe-holic!

CONTEST - How to make overalls look CHIC

Another look I created for a contest on Polyvore!

CONTEST - Chic in Overalls

Unfortunately, I don't own, nor do I ever really wear overalls, so this was a challenging one for me. The aim of the contest was to make the outfit look super chic, while incorporating a pair overalls! I chose a pair of leather ones, as I felt that it was probably easier to add great little touches such as the stylish pair of heels and fluffy fur coat!

I tried to give it a slight edge with the pop of gold by means of the clutch and necklace.

To be honest, it makes me want to get myself a pair of overalls.

What do you guys think? Can overalls look chic?

Spring look

A cute little look I made on Polyvore; quite fitting for the upcoming Spring months I thought! And totally loving this funky shirt from Topshop. Definitely adding that onto my wishlist!

Men's street style

Here's another 'set' I made for a Polyvore contest, this time, inspired by men's street style, which I'm totally loving at the moment!

Check out my TUMBLR & POLYVORE!

CONTEST - If I were a boy...

I need a pair of boyfriend jeans in my life, and I'm on the hunt, so for now, I'm living my desire vicariously through this post. I teamed the jeans with a Burberry checked shirt, a sheepskin jacket and some black Timberland boots.

Men really aren't given a great deal of attention as far as street style is concerned. If you make a search on tumblr or on the web more generally, about 98% of your results are going to be photos of women. It's understandable: the fashion industry is a world dominated by females and so men's clothing is naturally overshadowed by ours.

But if you take a real look, men are smashing it in the fashion department and are in my opinion, totally underrated.

AFFORDABLE - River Island

There's nothing worse than flicking through a fashion magazine like Vogue, falling in love with an outfit, and then realising that....oh, that cute blouse is only £700. And that's just the cheapest item on the page.

Totally unaffordable!

I love making sets with beautiful designer totally-out-of-my-price-range items, but yearning for something I can in no way afford (at least in the near future) isn't fun.

So I'm starting a collection of sets featuring my favourite - and totally affordable - pieces from the high street!

I don't usually like overdoing it with too many items from only ONE shop in just ONE outfit, but I figure this is the best way to show what kind of looks each brand has to offer at the moment.

Enjoy!
