AISLE STYLE

Very recently, one of my closest childhood friends got engaged to her boyfriend of three years :) Kinda crazy; it seems like just yesterday that we were little kids, being driven to ballet lessons together! We're all getting to that age where invitations to engagement parties, baby showers and weddings are starting to slowly creep into our lives; exciting times ahead for sure! But all these grown-upy events also mean another thing...NEW DRESSES! Yay! We all have those gorgeous dresses that we've bought and have absolutely nowhere and nothing to wear them for! Or in my case, the ones that I've lusted over for yonks but haven't been able to buy!

So with all of this on the horizon, I've recently taken to browsing for wedding-related dresses and accessories, be it on Pinterest or new sites I've discovered along the way; it's become one of my favourites hobbies for sure!

Aislestyle.co.uk is a fantastic site, catering to pretty much everything relating to special occasions; from weddings dresses and bridesmaids dresses to evening dresses, prom dresses and even accessories, you name it, they have it! And even better still, the prices won't break the bank, which, unfortunately, is very often the case with these pricey occasions. They also offer the ability to request custom measurements, which I'm sure would be super handy for a great number of women!

These are just a few of my personal favourites, but as you can see, they have all sorts of gorgeous dresses for all skin types and occasions! They also have dresses for junior bridesmaids and flower girls :) Check out the website by clicking below:

A TRICKY COMBINATION

Another quick post today! I had never realised how much I love the combination of black and brown! It's tricky to pull off if the shades aren't quite right, but for the most part, you really can't go wrong with a chocolate brown jumper and a leather jacket. I've been wearing this jacket to death recently; it's getting to that point in the year where the weather is just too warm for chunky coats, and perfect for leather jackets. YAY! Now I'm on the hunt for a duster coat..

Jumper: H&M // Jeans: Topshop // Jacket: Mango // Scarf: M&S // Bag: Accessorize // Shoes: Converse //

NEUTRAL

I've been trying to keep things a bit more colourful recently. We're in for some great weather soon, and I'm attempting to steer my natural inclinations towards brighter and happier clothing. We'll see how that goes. This look is pretty neutral and simple; perfect for a chilly walk around London, but for me, it's the back of the knit that makes this entire look. It's soo gorgeous; I really wish it was on the front to be honest!

I picked this knit up from a cute boutique near my flat in Spain, in Sotogrande. Sometimes it's so nice to have interesting boutique pieces that make an outfit individual. I paired it up with my grey jeans, and purple suede booties for a lovely colour palette,

SOME NEW BITS N BOBS

As the title suggests, this post features a few new additions that I've not yet included in my blog! I love being home because I discover old things that I used to wear, presenting a perfect opportunity to try and bring them to life again! This vibrant floral skirt is actually a dress, but I decided to wear my polo neck knit (£10 guys!) over it, which I felt was better suited to the cold weather, and also complemented the colour palette perfectly!

These old Topshop boots have made it back into my life; they're such a great versatile day/night pair of heels! But the new additions, bought in the January sales last week, are this gorgeous leather bucket bag and the gold chunky bracelet. The bag is not only incredibly sturdy and amazing quality, but also the perfect size...and it was about time I got myself a bag with gold hardware. I've ditched my old cream/black Primark bag, so I have a feeling that this one is going to be my new regular! Such a great bargain!

I'm not usually one for close-up face selfies; I'm way too self-conscious for that! But I'm loving this new lipstick I got myself (Chanel) the other day for general day use; not too pink, bright, or nude but just the right pop of colour.
