PORCELAIN KIMONO

I absolutely adore porcelain patterned items, and when I saw this gorgeous top on Choies, I was doubly sold by its kimono style! I'm in love with the kimono trend, but I feel like they've been worn to death over the past couple of seasons, and this offered something slightly different. I thought it was a perfect daytime piece, ready to be dressed up or down for any occasion. 

I paired it with my white skinny jeans and maroon oxford brogues, completing the entire look with my fringed bag from H&M: a nice simple outfit appropriate for the early Autumn days that don't yet require chunky knits or jackets.

LONG CARDY KINDA WEATHER

My stripy top and long cardigan from SheInside arrived in the post the other day - yay! They go together so perfectly, so I thought I'd pair them with my white jeans and chunky black heels to go out for a nice meal. Looking through my wardrobe, I realised that I was really lacking in casual tops for the colder weather, and pieces like this long cardigan are so versatile and easy to wear. 

I expected the cardigan to be grey - which it kind of is - but it really has blue undertones! I was definitely pleasantly surprised, though, because I think that it makes an outfit slightly more interesting, as opposed to the standard grey I would have usually gone for! 

Also, I finally had an opportunity to wear the gorgeous necklace my boyfriend got me for Christmas, which I usually have a hard time pairing with outfits! It's so pretty!

AUTUMN'S COMING

Hey guys! Just a quick outfit post; mainly to complain about the weather we've been having in London recently! It's now almost always overcast, rainy, and quite chilly - basically, it's unacceptable weather for August :( The only upside is that I really enjoy dressing for slightly cooler Autumn weather - it allows so many opportunities for layering & cool blazers or chunky knits! This kimono is perfect for this kind of weather, and looks awesome thrown over a simple, monochrome outfit! 

I'm also becoming more accustomed to wearing my white skinnies! They go with pretty much everything, but yet make for a more interesting look than the standard black skinny jeans I used to live in! Next, I'd like to get myself a slightly more dishevelled and ripped up pair! 

I got myself this new fringed leather bag while perusing the streets of London the other day with my friend. To be fair, it was less a matter of indulgence and more that I was actually in need of a cute bag in a colour other than black! I thought this was one was perfect to pair with loads of different outfits, as well as it being a great size, and also, I really can't pass up a bit of fringe!

New Shoes

Hey guys! Just another quick post, this time featuring my gorgeeee Dahlia dress! I never ever get tired of it! It's so comfortable and  such a great fit on the bust, especially with the lovely cap sleeves, which I don't usually go for. Unfortunately, my biggest problem with this dress that I don't have a great selection of shoes to wear it with, but I got these shiny maroon-y brogues from Depop recently, and felt they went perfectly, as well as adding a pop of colour!
