TIE DYE & SPOTS

I love contrasting colours and shapes, and after delving into the depths of forgotten items in my wardrobe, I pulled out this thrifted green tie-dye t-shirt, and my old salmon and black spotty Vans. Together, they make for a really simple outfit, made slightly more interesting and eye-catching due to the clash of colours and prints. Once again, I paired it with my trusty black skinnies and long cardigan.

Thanks for checking out my blog!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

I took these photos about a week or so ago, but considering that they feature my super festive jumper, I thought what better time to post them than on Christmas Day? The Christmas jumper trend has blown up more than ever this year, the crazier and uglier the jumper, the better. I found this simple one in Spitalfields Market, and was fundamentally drawn to the olive green colour - my fave! I thought it would look cute with my new tapered cropped trousers - yay for Zara for actually having a pair that accommodate my tiny waist and large...rear. Now I'm on the lookout for some high-waisted ones, but hey, you can't have it all at once. Baby steps.

Please excuse the awkward faces in these photos - I was kinda struggling with a very uncomfortable cold sore :(

Also, I'm loving this choker I picked up in Topshop a couple of weeks back! Such a versatile and interesting piece, and I've received so many compliments about it already!

Thanks for reading!

Hope you're all having a wonderful Christmas!

Beachy

Here's a simple beach outfit I wore the other day; these vintage Levi's shorts are super comfortable and can be worn in so many different styles! Another wardrobe discovery this week was my canvas aztec drawstring bag, which is pretty spacious and probably more appropriate for the beach than the leather satchel I featured in my last post.

One of my good friends bought me this amazing goldy & purple glitter nail polish for my birthday! It applies so well, as opposed to one of the American Apparel ones I have, and I used a nude/pink base for a pretty contrast.

Crochet detailing

My boyfriend and I went back to Reading this weekend to celebrate his birthday and visit his family! I kept it pretty casual, sticking to my black skinnies most of the time, and pairing them with either my brown brogues or black cut-out leather boots!
Not only do I love the colour of this sheer sleeveless blouse, but I also love the crochet floral detail all along the front!
I need new make-up ideas! Thinking of incorporating a bit of colour from now on; I usually tend to stick to nude colours or dark muted metallics. And I just can't accomplish the liquid flick with a blunt pencil - I need to visit a make-up shop soon!
