PARTY LOOK: LEATHER SKIRT & SPARKLY TOP

Top: Peacocks | Skirt: H&M | Coat: Primark | Bag: Pimkie | Flats: Zara
------------------------------------------------

I've been after a faux leather skirt for ages, but due to my pear-shaped figure, I've never tried one on that didn't risk showing my bits after about 10 minutes into wearing it - why do they make them so short? Of course, this H&M one is still very short, there's no avoiding that fact, really, but I like how the slight A-line shape makes it more appropriate while also skimming over the hips to flatter my shape nicely.

I paired it with this sparkly high-neck top from Peacocks, which I have to say, sheds glitter like there's no tomorrow! Still, I absolutely love this look - it's one of those fantastic transitional outfits that's great for anything from a dinner, right to a party or club.

DO YOU THINK I LIKE GREY?

Jumper: Primark (mens) | Jeans: Levis via Motel Vintage | Hat: H&M | Coat: Primark | Shoes: Adidas
--------------------------------------------

Honestly, 50% of the time, I have no energy to really put much thought into my outfits, so this is pretty much my go to look these days. I dunno if anyone agrees with me, but I'm not one of those people who believes in "suffering for fashion". I hate being cold; it really ruins my day. So these days, when I roll out of bed and just can't be bothered, I make a beeline for my grey woolly hat, any old knit, my Primark coat, some jeans, and my Adidas superstars, which have been so worn in over the years, they're pretty much the comfiest things I own. I  do have new pairs of shoes and clothes, which I probably should be making use of, especially with the incentive of creating new content for my blog. But sometimes a gal just wants to stick to what she knows best, you feel me?

PRIMARK KINDA FESTIVE JUMPER

Jumper: Primark | Jeans: Topshop | Coat: Primark | Shoes: Reebok via Size?
----------------------------------------------

I actually saw this jumper featured in an editorial spread in some magazine a couple of months back, and expected it, as usual, to be some designer piece way out of my budget. So I was really pleasantly surprised to see it was from Primark, and priced at only £18! I kept it pretty minimal for a chilly walk along the river, pairing it with my ripped jeans, super longline coat (also from Primark), and my little pink Reebok clouds - seriously, so comfortable,

PRIMARK PLAYSUIT

Playsuit: Primark | Jacket: Mango | Shoes: ASOS | Necklace: Bijou Brigitte | Sunnies: ALDO | Bag: H&M
-------------------------------

I couldn't quite believe my eyes when I spotted this gorge playsuit in Primark during one of my many frequent weekend browses. The quality is so great, the fit is fantastic, the print is pretty and nothing like anything I've seen in Primark this season, and as for the price - well, at only £14, an absolute steal!

I must say that I'm extremely pleased with this purchase; it was one of those items that I just couldn't leave the shop without. It's one of those versatile Spring/Summer pieces that's easy to dress down or up, make even girlier, or add a slight edge to, as I've done with the studded monk shoes and leather jacket here. The statement necklace and cat-eye sunglasses, which make lovely contrasts to the tougher accessories, do wonders to balance out the whole look.

I can't wait to find some more pieces like this in Primark!

PANDA HAT

Magazines offer the best freebies and offers sometimes; a couple of weeks ago being no different when I got a cheeky voucher for 20% off H&M in Glamour. Hallelujaaaaah! H&M is one of my absolute faves, and it's already so decently priced, that the prospect of a further 20% off made me a happy bunny!

I picked up this super snug maxi cardigan, which I am currently wearing to death! I also found this cute panda hat lying around on its lonesome, so decided to take him home with me! I just couldn't pass up those two bobbles :)

BUMPING INTO RUSSELL BRAND

I've been after a grey pair of jeans for a while, and finally found THE comfiest pair in M&S. I was a little sceptical at first, because I usually swear by my trusty Topshop jeans, but unfortunately, I couldn't find any grey ones in Topshop, and these are actually cheaper!

I tried to keep the look slightly more colourful than usual with this lovely maroon top from SheInside. I absolutely love the dainty cut-outs, neckline, and the straps, which add a hint of elegance to an otherwise simple outfit.

STUDDED MONK SHOES

After publishing my previous blog post (here), I really couldn't get these studded monk shoes out of my head, and finally caved. Considering that they were on sale, reduced from £35 to just £19, it was an offer I couldn't really pass up, especially since I've been after a simple pair of black brogues/loafers for ages. I needed some shoes that went with pretty much anything, especially my white jeans and mom jeans, which I usually find quite hard pairing with any of the shoes I already own. These babies are super comfortable but are also versatile and quite unique due to the studs and monk strap; a detail that I've been seeing all over the place recently.

I also picked up this grey jumper from H&M; like I don't have enough grey in my wardrobe - doh! In all seriousness, though, many of the grey jumpers I do own, I find quite restricting, either in size or fit, but this one is just perfect! It's slightly over-sized, but still feminine, extremely soft and also stretchy, which allows for more movement.

I teamed the jeans and shoes with a simple V-neck tee from Primark (the boys' section of course) and added a hint of girliness (but not too much) with the Chanel dupe bag. It was given to me by my boyfriend's mum after a spring clean of her wardrobe. She told me it was a fake, so I'll take her word for it, but it honestly looks and feels as real as can be - such great quality, and such an awesome touch to a simple outfit!

I'm also loving the cute bracelets in Urban Outfitters recently!

Next, I'm going to try and experiment with my monk shoes for a slightly more edgy and out-there look! Watch this space!
