I actually saw this jumper featured in an editorial spread in some magazine a couple of months back, and expected it, as usual, to be some designer piece way out of my budget. So I was really pleasantly surprised to see it was from Primark, and priced at only £18! I kept it pretty minimal for a chilly walk along the river, pairing it with my ripped jeans, super longline coat (also from Primark), and my little pink Reebok clouds - seriously, so comfortable,

PASTEL PINK REEBOKS

I'd been eyeing up these pastel pink Reebok trainers for a good while (insert heart eyes emoji) but at £72, I wasn't quite sure if I could part with my dwindling funds to buy them. I am sooo happy I did though, because, not only do I own nothing like them (mainly due to the colour and style) but they are also literally the comfiest things ever - it's honestly like walking on clouds. Ironically, I used to detest this style of Reebok back in the day, when my mum used to own a pair when they were big in the 90s. I guess I've come full circle now, because I absolutely love them - and I honestly wish I could have the pastel blue pair too! 

I've featured this Dahlia silk bomber on my blog before, but I thought I would style it a little differently this time, and pair it with a slightly more masculine vibe (even though the trainers are pink), and topped it all off with my trusty mom jeans! Such a comfy outfit, and I'm so pleased that I'm exploring colours outside of my usual monochrome palette!

PINAFORE DRESS TREND

This season we're seeing a huge denim revival with a surge of 70's and 90's trends hitting the shops for Spring and Summer! Dungarees have been on trend for ages, but a new take on that trend is the pinafore. Be it denim, tartan, leather or even suede, I love how you can style the pinafore dress in so many different ways for great summery looks. Here I've created a sporty/girly outfit with a Bershka denim pinafore dress, pink cropped tee and blue Converse!

In the two images below, I've ditched the blue for some black high-top Converse and a leather jacket for a slightly grungier and tougher look!

WHISTLES

I finally made a cheeky purchase from one of my favourite stores, Whistles! Usually, any time I peruse the shelves and rails, I leave the shop rather dejectedly, because, to be honest, anything in there very much exceeds any figure within my budget. This time, though, I left feeling quite pleased with the bargain I snagged up in the sale.

This cute pink cropped t-shirt was reduced from a painful £55 to just £15 - happy days! I thought it was quite a suitable addition to my wardrobe; great quality, versatile, easy to style, and perfect for the upcoming Spring months. 

For this outfit, I was feeling quite girly and pink for once, so I teamed it up with my gorge silk bomber jacket from Dahlia, and a lovely beaded necklace which was gifted to me. I decided to toughen up the look slightly with my Dr. Martens; one of my favourite things about styling outfits is clashing, be it with prints and colours, or also vibe and aesthetic.

[PS. no idea what the deal is with that dodgy crease right in the middle of the t-shirt - oops!]

SOMETHING PINK FOR ONCE

I honestly don't think I own a single pink item of clothing, and I've never generally been a huge fan or wearer of pink throughout my life, so I thought I'd switch it up a bit and get myself this snug jumper. It's quite a nice dusty tone - don't really even know what that means, but y'know, not the super bright fuchsia colour? Also, I really love (and always have) the contrast between pink and grey. So voilà!

Wrap Dress from the Zara Sale

So the other day, I randomly checked my PayPal balance (expecting to see a big fat 0) and to my pleasant surprise, I had a lovely £12.00 just sitting there, waiting to be used. I picked up this gorge dusty pink wrap dress from the Zara sale, which actually has some amazing items right now that I did not expect to see there! I bagged it for only £9.99 - not only a great bargain, but it's also my birthday in a few days, so I justified it as a well deserved pressie from me to me :)

It is so so comfortable and soft, and I really love the nudey pink colour, especially the fact that it's kinda speckled, which gives it a lovely effect. I don't think I've ever owned a wrap dress either - but they're gorgeous, and super flattering to absolutely any body shape, especially if you're larger on the hip and bum area like I am. The low neckline and wrap detail on the bust enhances this area nicely, and I just find them generally so elegant and easy to dress down or up! Perfect :)

On another note, my hair is ridiculously long and verging on out-of-control-level, so I've been trying new hairstyles to keep it neat and tame. I've never been particularly great at doing my hair :( but an Asos tutorial popped up on my YouTube dashboard, and I tried it out - this being the result! Not badddd I guess; and I think it goes really nicely with the dress.

I tried to pair the dress with both a chunky black button-less knit cardigan, and a lighter nude cardigan. I'm not really sure which one I prefer! I guess they both work well, depending on the accessories you choose to wear!
