BRICK LANE VINTAGE

I ventured into Brick Lane Market for the first time only a couple of weeks ago. I literally can't believe that I've left it until now to go; it's my new favourite place in London, for sure. It's absolutely buzzing with people, incredible food, creative stalls and amazing vintage pieces. I found the cutest little stall teeming with these oversized vintage shirts, and it took me ages to pick one because I loved most of them. Finally, I decided to go for a safer option that I felt was more wearable and versatile. Even though it's black, grey and white, the crazy pattern can spice up any outfit, and I added a pop of colour with my oxblood Dr. Martens.

FLUFFY BOOTS

I'm gradually straying away from my grey and black jumper choices; slowly but surely. I've always adored these chunky aran cable knit jumpers, and I found this cute cardigan-style one in Greenwich Market for only £10. I'm not gonna lie; it's super itchy, but I love it so much that I desperately try and ignore it for the sake of a cute outfit.

I teamed it up with one of my favourite shirts - not only do I love the print and the colour, but I also think that the gold collar tips are a lovely touch.

Finally, a new addition to my shoe collection; these cute fluffy boots (with a slight heel) given to me by my boyfriend's mum. I think they have the ability to make any outfit that slight bit more feminine, as well as elongating the leg, and of course adding a really Wintery feel to the general aesthetic of the look.

MOTEL MOHAIR

I'm pretty sure I featured this cropped jumper in one of my early blog posts at the beginning of this year, but the weather has started calling for it again! I picked it up at one of Motel Rocks' sample sales, where I always discover gems for a bargain. I usually find cropped jumpers quite uncomfortable but this one is perfect for pairing with my high-waisted mom jeans! (also from Motel)

I teamed them with my new studded monk shoes, of course, which I've been wearing to death as of late! I doubt they'll be going anywhere soon, because I just purchased some high-waisted cigarette trousers from ASOS, which I hope to wear these babies with for an equally minimal but more chic look

Also, I'm loving this Nails Inc varnish! I honestly get some of my favourite things as freebees in magazines!

STUDDED MONK SHOES

After publishing my previous blog post (here), I really couldn't get these studded monk shoes out of my head, and finally caved. Considering that they were on sale, reduced from £35 to just £19, it was an offer I couldn't really pass up, especially since I've been after a simple pair of black brogues/loafers for ages. I needed some shoes that went with pretty much anything, especially my white jeans and mom jeans, which I usually find quite hard pairing with any of the shoes I already own. These babies are super comfortable but are also versatile and quite unique due to the studs and monk strap; a detail that I've been seeing all over the place recently.

I also picked up this grey jumper from H&M; like I don't have enough grey in my wardrobe - doh! In all seriousness, though, many of the grey jumpers I do own, I find quite restricting, either in size or fit, but this one is just perfect! It's slightly over-sized, but still feminine, extremely soft and also stretchy, which allows for more movement.

I teamed the jeans and shoes with a simple V-neck tee from Primark (the boys' section of course) and added a hint of girliness (but not too much) with the Chanel dupe bag. It was given to me by my boyfriend's mum after a spring clean of her wardrobe. She told me it was a fake, so I'll take her word for it, but it honestly looks and feels as real as can be - such great quality, and such an awesome touch to a simple outfit!

I'm also loving the cute bracelets in Urban Outfitters recently!

Next, I'm going to try and experiment with my monk shoes for a slightly more edgy and out-there look! Watch this space!
