MY FAVOURITE SHORTS

Bralet: SheInside | Shorts: Forever 21 | Necklace: Bijou Brigitte | Sunglasses: Topshop

----------------------------------------------

These shorts might just be one of the best purchases I've made all year. I'm literally wearing these to death this summer; I wear them to sleep, to the beach, and even to go out - it's really all about how you style them!

I also decided to pull this faux leather bralet out from my wardrobe the other day; this thing hadn't really seen the light of day since last summer. I don't know why, because it's one of those pieces that's just so simple to style, and can make any outfit look that little bit better. Check out another way I styled this bralet here!

TROPICAL PRINT

 Top: SheInside | Cardigan: Topshop | Jeans: M&S | Jacket: Mango | Shoes: ASOS | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
---------------------

As the weather gets nicer and nicer (not today, sod's law) I'm trying keep things lighter in terms of prints and palette. I spotted this pretty tropical print on SheInside some time ago for only just over £6 and had to purchase! Not only does it incorporate all of my favourite tones of green, but the back is really interesting, with the slit and knot detail. Such a lovely piece to wear with high-waisted denim shorts this summer! Sun, please return!

CRACKLE

I've been loving the marble/crackle print trend for ages, and although the high-street and sites like ASOS are teeming with pieces like this, I could never find one that didn't look too busy. I've been on the hunt for a simple and understated blouse like this one, and finally found what I was after on SheInside for an incredible price as usual!

I haven't worn a skirt in aaaages, so I thought I'd brave the cold for once, and opted for my super comfortable and versatile skater skirt from H&M, that had been lying in my wardrobe unused for way too long. I completed the look with my wide-brimmed/fedora hat (bad idea on a windy day guys, just sayin') and my chunky maroon knit cardigan!

EYELASH LACE

Happy New Year everyone! I've been back home in Gibraltar for the past couple of weeks, and it's all been a bit hectic, which has left me with little to no time to post. But I'm finally back, and with a new year's resolution to update my blog more often!

I've been absolutely in love with eyelash lace items since they blew up last summer. I'm pretty sure this design of dress is a dupe of a designer's, but I can't quite remember which one. Anyway, after spotting this beauty on Missguided, I then found it on SheInside for a fraction of the price!

I wore this same outfit on Christmas Eve with some lace up heeled booties with a fur cuff, but decided to opt for my trusty monk shoes for this laid back lunch outing. I teamed them up with a charcoal coat from my mum's wardrobe; a couple of sizes too big for me for a cool boyfriend effect.

BUMPING INTO RUSSELL BRAND

I've been after a grey pair of jeans for a while, and finally found THE comfiest pair in M&S. I was a little sceptical at first, because I usually swear by my trusty Topshop jeans, but unfortunately, I couldn't find any grey ones in Topshop, and these are actually cheaper!

I tried to keep the look slightly more colourful than usual with this lovely maroon top from SheInside. I absolutely love the dainty cut-outs, neckline, and the straps, which add a hint of elegance to an otherwise simple outfit.

ZHILOH & GINGHAM

You gotta love H&M: I picked up this cute dress for just £12! Before this piece, I had never really jumped on the gingham bandwagon, but with my beautiful new heels forever on my mind, I thought the two would look so cute styled together to create a girly/grunge outfit. That's the best thing about a statement item like badass boots or a leather jacket: you can wear them in so many different ways, anything from making them look super grunge and rock-chic to styling them with pretty dresses for a more girly vibe.

Considering how high these heels are, they're actually extremely comfortable and easy to walk in, which tends to be the case when they have a chunky platform! I thought they looked cool with these fishnet socks, which I pretty much wear with all my boots these days!

BODY CHAIN

I got my hands on one of my long-lusting body chains some time ago, and I had never really found an opportunity to incorporate it into an outfit until now! I think it looks so cute and subtle worn underneath a crop top or bralet, paired with these high-waisted shorts, and the kimono only adds to the general understated vibe of the look.

This bralet is faux leather and, again, another incredible bargain from SheInside! It fits really well and it's actually incredibly comfortable and supportive!

This has to be one of my favourite nail polishes ever! It's by O.P.I. and is called 'PEACE & LOVE & OPI'. It's sort of like a gel consistency, so it's incredibly easy to apply, and also gives off a multi-toned effect - sometimes it's purple and sometimes it's green, which I love!
